8th Annual National Charro Championship

This competition started out with great expectations by the warm and friendly people of Jalisco's West Coast. It now returns for its 8th year, to be held in the "Cathedral" of Coastal Rodeo, the Miguel "Prieto" Ibarria Charro Rodeo Ring, from February 17 to 21 with 35 of the best national teams competing for top spot. The organizing committee has provided great prizes for the top six teams and 10 awards for individual champions.The tournament this year is expected to far exceed the quality shown by the teams invited to the big event, so the population of Banderas Bay and international tourists are welcome to come and enjoy the finest competitors of the national rodeo.
